The Pregnancy Research and Translation Ecosystem (PRT-E) aims to develop and implement high quality evidence to improve maternal and infant health.

We believe the diverse voice of our pregnancy care community is crucial to understanding how this can be achieved. Our expert group of pregnancy care stakeholders work alongside leading researchers to identify and explore current issues within perinatal care, supporting the development of intervention projects that are locally relevant and sustainable.

PRT-E is a world class research platform facilitating the co-design and development of creative and innovative solutions to some of the most complex issues emerging in pregnancy related care. Our collaborative group includes; pregnancy care clinicians, women who are or have recently been pregnant, and leading researchers from Deakin University. We partner with six health services across the Barwon, Southwest and Grampians regions including regional and rural services.
